*Currently Hiring Production Operators and Loadout Operators*

 

Production Operators: 

$17 - $18/ hour starting pay, depending on work experience.  This is a Rotating Shift position.

Entry Level Production Operators are responsible for all aspects of the process which include hammer mill, cook, fermentation & evaporation duties, boiler operation, bulk chemical & enzyme storage areas. 

Essential job functions include but aren't limited to:  proper sampling, testing, and accurate documenting of test data; ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule form instructions; effectively communicate with Shift Leader and fellow operators; take an active role in creating and fostering a safe work environment, assisting with plant troubleshooting, calibrations, and quality assurance practices and protocol. Basic computer & good math skills are essential.

Physical labor is required including climbing stairs/ladders, walking, standing, stooping, bending, scooping, lifting 50 lbs.  Employees in this position are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and all outdoor weather conditions. 

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Technical degree or certification in related field is a plus.

 

Loadout Operators:

$15 - $16/ hour starting pay, depending of work experience.  

Monday - Friday, day position with some Saturdays as needed.

Entry Level Loadout Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently loading co-products, dried distiller's grains (DDG) and wet distillers grains (WDG) using a front-end wheel loading, maintaining cleanliness of DDG storage building and wet feed pad management.

Essential job functions include but aren't limited to:  leant and operate computer systems, conveyors, and equipment associated with loading distillers grains, maintain accurate records of loading times and inventory, operate and inspect front-end loaders, build and maintain positive relationships with haulers, communicate effectively with management and fellow operators, able to read, write and understand English. 

Qualifications & physical labor:  This position requires walking, seeing, speaking and hearing, stooping, bending, standing for continuous periods, lifting 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, scooping grains with shovel as needed, ability to ascend and descend stars and ladders is a must.  Employees in this position must be willing to work around corn dust, chemicals and other substances, wear PPE, and work in extreme temperatures as this position is outdoors.  

High School diploma or equivalent is required.  Agricultural background or previous manufacturing experience is a plus
